This is a vintage marked sterling silver and made in S Africa. It is also signed P. J or F. unknown maker's mark. It is sterling with light patina. The focal point is a large blue polished gemstone recessed in a darkened silver frame. Unsure of the stone but maybe a sort of jasper or agate. The closure is a safety locking clasp soldered to the frame with a straight pin stem. Size is 1 1/8 inches in width by 1 1/4 inches in length. Weight is 13.7 grams.
