This delightful set of porcelain dates around 1900/10 and is typical of "souvenir" ware that was being made in England and Germany at that time. It is also possible that this was made as a childrens play set which would have other various pieces to complete it. The whimsical nature of the stencilled details makes this set unique and a fun addition to collectors of all kinds! Both are in good condition considering their age; there is a very slight age line showing only on the bottom of the plate which can be seen in the photo. The plate measures 7" in diameter while the cup is 2 5/8" in diameter and 2 1/2" in height.
