World War I was known as the “war to end all wars” because of the great destruction it caused. Some evil people today still haven't gotten the message yet.

NOT a repro...this is an original circa 1918 celluloid pin that declares...OUR HEROES WELCOME HOME. The red, white and blue pin is decorated with laurels. The war ended in November of 1918.

Measures 1 inch across. The back has its original paper advertising insert for Bastian Bros. Co. - Celluloid Novelties - Rochester, N.Y.

Pin is in excellent vintage condition. Here's hoping that we never have to welcome soldiers back from a war because there's no war to go to.
