Antique French Art Nouveau Gold Boulle Embroidered Silk Tablecloth Fragment

This is a gorgeous example of Antique (circa late 1800s) French Gold Boulle & Silk Floss Embroidery work. It is a long silk embroidered tablecloth, valance or altar cloth with fringe on 3 sides. The embroidery is all hand done and depicts lovely Art Nouveau Flowers. The panel is large at 96" long x 32 1/2" including the fringe. The Silk Embroidery is in fair condition. There are areas of fraying some spots and fading, please view the large photos for the condition. That being said much of the embroidery work is suitable for framing and the fringe is in nice condition for the age. The silk panel would be perfect in an antique textile collection, it is a lovely antique item.
