A stunning raised portrait of spiky leaves and stems looks amazing on this Art Nouveau Silver scent bottle lid.
The image covers the sides of the lid, and there is a large raised flower on top. Really amazing work, so typical of the Art Nouveau era.
Below is a clear cut crystal bottle that has a beautiful sparkling twinkle. The glass part of the bottle is 2&1/4". Width is 1&1/8." Total length is about 3&1/2". It's the perfect size to pop into your purse.
The lid has a hinged opening at the back. The original glass stopper or dauber is still intact, and the original cork plug is still in the lid.
The bottle is in very good antique condition. There is one small dent at the top, right on the side. No damage to the crystal.
I couldn't find a country or maker mark, but the lid is stamped "800" silver, which suggests the European mainland.
