What a fabulous cigar tin from Philadelphia! This tin has several nice features. First, notice the paper label inside the lid. The label explains how the price of the cigar was lowered from ten cents to five cents. Why? Because of the depression in the 1930s. Next, notice the paper NRA Member sticker in the upper right corner of the inside of the lid. It is unusual to find a tin such as this with so much of the original paper still intact. The tin is in good vintage condition with normal scraps and wear.
The tin is a great size for display measuring 7 ½ by 5 ½ inches with a depth of 3 inches. This is a great vintage tin box and would display well in your home or office. Enjoy!
