This is from a local estate in Central Pennsylvania from a couple who served in Taiwan in the 1970s. During their tour of duty, they purchased art from throughout Southeast Asia, such as this painting.

The artist is from Thailand and his art is sought after by collectors. This is some of his early work; later work is more landscape oriented. The art is oil on canvas in a wood frame. The matting is a fabric with wood interior edging. Interestingly the frame is from Finland, so they must have had it framed later there. The art is in good condition.
