this very old-beautiful and quite large Abalone shell is in good condition without major chips or breaks but with flaking and areas of erosion especially around the rim and the exterior. This is pictured in the photos. Probably early 20th century, circa 1920. It is 9.25 in. long, by 7.25 in. deep, by 3.0 in. tall. Guaranteed to be as described.
