Vintage Mid Century Couronne 14K Gold Persian Turquoise Pendant or Charm - Heart with Etched Design Background

Possibly made by the Couronne Jewelry Co of New York, NY (1940s/1950s Jewelry Maker), may I offer this 14K Rose Gold (hallmarked 14K within a Crown as pictured) round disc pendant or charm featuring, a unique center - a heart shaped cab Persian Turquoise set against an extremely ornate engraved background; the reverse is plain - ready to add your own personal sentiment. If I'm not mistaken, Couronne was one of the best known jewelers that converted Victorian and Edwardian jewelry into "wearable" larger pieces of gold that were worn during the retro era. The charm/pendant measures 15/16" wide x 1" high (to top of bale); weight is 3.8 grams. If I'm right, this is a ONE OF A KIND piece that may have been custom made for a lady! How cool is that!
