Antique Victorian Late 1800's Carnelian Grapes & Leaves 9K Gold Fob.

Gorgeous piece comprised of 9ct gold fashioned into an ornate fob with a grapes and leaves motif....bezel set with a polished and beveled carnelian stone. These fobs were originally meant to embellish a watch chain..... which they still do so beautifully. However, today they may be seen fashionably worn as a pendant or attached to a charm bracelet. Good size attachment ring or bale will accommodate just about any size chain.

Fob is stamped PLS (manufacturers mark) 9 and 375 (for 9K gold) with a date mark as well that is difficult to decipher. European in origin.

Fob measures 1-3/8 inches high by 3/4 inch wide.

Fob weighs 10.6 grams.
