We are delighted to offer this handsome and very cheeky little chap from the late 1920s period. This sweet mohair jointed monkey was manufactured by the German toymaker Schuco. He is of metal plate construction covered in mohair fur in the gorgeous cinnamon color. His face with inset brown eyes, is made of coated metal. He is jointed at the shoulders and hips and he has retained his original flesh toned felt ears, hands and feet. His head is removed to expose the inner holder for a perfume bottle, this glass vial is missing, a removable card tube inserted in its place.

Size: Standing 4 3/4 inch tall.

Condition. Apart from the missing inner scent bottle, very good to excellent. A good clean, full furred and bright colored example with only minor fur wear by the left cheek. Again very minor wear abrasion to his metal face. One small, pin head sized insect hole to his left foot, mentioned for accuracy. No labels, no tags

A really superb example that is ready to enthral and delight.
