Here's a wonderful small cast sterling silver frame. It measures 4 1/4" high (including the ring for hanging) by 3 1/4" wide. The opening oval is 1 7/8" by 1 1/2". It weighs 35.1 grams. The frame has a pair of figures on either side that look like mermen. On the top is a face with a headdress flanked by 2 mythological animal heads, and there are also ram's horns and instruments and fruit at the bottom.

There are 2 holders on the back that once held a wire to have the frame stand. But as it has its ring on top, I think its best to hang it at this point. Also - there is no clear way to attach a picture, although a photo or print could be easily lightly glued in place on the rim in back. I also like the idea of just hanging it as it is with nothing in the frame, it's beautiful!
