Here's a very nice match safe in the form of a package tied with cord. It's from around the 1890's and it is silver plated. The match safe measures 2 3/4" by 1 1/2" and 7/16". The condition is very good with only a couple very slight indentations. The top opens and closes very well and snaps closed. The striking surface is at the bottom.
A really nice figural match safe with very good design.
