This is an exquisitely fine 18th century Georgian period gentleman's button of dark blue enamel embellished with domed ivory enamel pierreries and gold foil paillons and set in a border of brilliant paste in cut down settings. The mounting tests sterling silver. It measures 1 & 1/4" medium in excellent condition.
