This is a very fine jasperware button--it looks like Wedgwood--from the 19th century featuring a tryst between Zeus and Hera. The detail is very fine, but hard to scan. Hera's Fertility scepter is lashed to the column, and she appears to be un-armoring Zeus. The silver tests as sterling and the border rhinestones are al original and bright. It measures 1 & 1/8" medium in excellent condition.
