Spectacular vintage 1972 Napier oriental man "Ming" pendant necklace. This Asian inspired pendant was part of a line produced to commemorate Nixon's 1st visit to China. It is a fabulous figural that is detailed, lots of texture, and dimensional. The face is resin, probably hand painted, and nicely detailed down to his rosy cheeks. He comes on a signed Napier foxtail necklace.

Excellent vintage condition. No crazing to the glaze over his face. Very, very minor age-related metal wear to the back of the pendant, where it would have laid against clothing. Measures 3", including the bale, 1 5/8" wide. Chain is just shy of 18" long. Signed on the back.

A hard to find must-have for the collector. A book piece that can be seen in the book "The Napier Co." on pg. 465. This will make an exciting addition to your designer, figural, or Asian theme collection.
