This is absolutely gorgeous! This one stands out from the others since most of the jardinieres are done with a floral motif. The artist has given us a little of the outside inside with the beautiful hand painted scenes. As you turn the jardiniere the scenes that you can see all have the sun rising. One scene has trees with a road on each side, one has a small stream with a little tree, and one has a tree with a fence running in front of it. The artist has added a butter yellow color around the base of this piece and has painted golden ribbon designs separating the scenes from the bottom. The rim is a beautiful gold that completes the piece wonderfully. It is signed on the bottom Mrs L.G. Barker 1926 Leroy + Pauline. There are no hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
