Set of 6 Awesome 8 ¼” Plates ~ Limoges Porcelain ~ Gold Encrusted Branches and Leaves ~ Bawo & Dotter Elite Works 1900-1914 Higgings & Seiter NY

The beautiful mold design is very fitting for the art work! The creamy background is accented with a wide rim of encrusted gold. The gold design flows out onto the plate with thorny branches and leaves that goes around the inner center on the plate. The design is outlined with raised gold paste giving a three dimensional look. These are just very very nice!! They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
