Antique 1922 Hanson model no. 8916 cotton scale. This antique spring scale from 1922 was utilitarian in use as its purpose was to weigh bales of cotton up to 160 lbs. Manufactured by the Hanson Scale Company of Chicago, Illinois. This antique spring scale is in excellent working condition and still displays its original colors and print. The scale measures 13" long, 2 1/2" wide and 1 3/4" deep.
