From Denmark, a gold-plated advent candle holder designed by Hugo Asmussen. It consists of a hoop 8 inches in diameter sitting on a round base, 2 5/8 inches in diameter. Pendulum candle holders with teardrop-shaped bottoms fit into 5 indentations in the top of the hoop. Each individual candle holder measures 6 inches long. The overall height of the complete candle holder is 9 inches.

On the bottom the base plate is marked "Design Asmussen", "Gold Plating" in 3 languages and "24 Karat". The candle holder was produced in the 1970s. This one is in very good vintage condition. There are very light scuff marks on the base plate, but you have to look close to see them. It's recommended not to polish the metal, rather, to wash it in soapy water.
