A very RARE Wood and Enamel small round stud box. The Dark Blue enamel has gold lettering which reads A Tunbridge Toy. It is set into the top of the wood which has a border of dark and light wood also known as Tunbridge Ware. The box is light wood with a threaded screw top.

The dark blue enamel is typical of the Wednesbury Enamel C 1800 which you also see in patch boxes of this era.

The condition is quite good, there is a small split on the top which is due to shrinkage of the wood .

Measures approximately 1 ¼” high x 1 ¼” across.
