Beautifully matted and framed chromolithograph of English Setter by Vero Shaw for the Illustrated Book of the Dog. This is an original plate from the 1881 edition. It is one of the earliest color images of this breed.
There is a companion piece of Skye Terriers (shown in last photo) also by Shaw which is listed separately.
