Here is an old wood sugar or mince meat bucket or firkin with sloped sides, bail handle with wood grip and old pumpkin paint. The bucket is 12" high, 12.5" across the base and 10.5" across the lid. The lid is natural color wood with concentric carved circles on the top. The lid fits into the bucket. The lid has a crack across it. The firkin has 3 metal bands around at the top center and near the base. It is sturdy and shows well. The firkin was found in NJ and is probably from the N J/PA region.
