This fabulous silver rimmed and decorated clear leaded glass ashtray features two ducks (mallards) in flight over a marsh of cattails. This ashtray was probably decorated by the Silver City Glass Company of Meriden, CT circa 1940's pattern 'Duck'.

Ashtray measures 6" in diameter and about 1 1/4" in height. Condition is excellent, silver on the rim shows only minor signs of age. Decoration on inside of ducks and cattail looks pristine. I don't believe this was ever used as an ashtray. Beautiful! See photos for more detail.
