Offered is an antique document box circa 1820 – 1830 in good condition covered with leather and supported by brass hobnail tacks. It is approximately 15 x 10 x 6 inches. The bail handle and hinges are original. The interior of the box is lined in hand painted blue and white wallpaper with patriotic stars, of a vintage age but added later. ** to clean something like this, I usually use a clear saddle soap, however I have done nothing to this. Less is better
