Offered is an early 19th century humpback trencher with paddle handles expertly carved out of a single piece of wood. It has a surface which shows wear from centuries of use. Condition is commiserate with age: no serious cracks, chips or damage. Note the chisel marks under the paddle handles.
Measures 19" long x 10 & 3/8" wide x 3 & ½" deep.
This is a wonderful New England example of the early American trencher.
