This bank is unusual in that it features a boy standing on his head. To deposit coins, the zipper must be unzipped, drop the coin in, and then re-zipper the boy's pants. A like new coin stopper is on the top of his head (or bottom of the bank). This is a really neat and unusual concept with this vintage bank.
The original label that says, "Fine Quality" "LeGo" is still on the boy's head, near the stopper. The company made other versions of this bank which were simply painted with other colors. They also made banks which were roughly the same size, but different subject matters.
LeGo was a Japanese ceramic company that made thousands and thousands of items. Some were copies, and some were originals, but most popular during the 1960's.
