Russia, circa 1930s

These classic cluster earrings are crafted in yellow 14K gold. The earrings feature two Russian demantoids (approximately 0.88 ct and 0.85 ct) of a rare dark alpine green color. The demantoids are surrounded by chunky old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are much older than the earrings (19th century and earlier). They have very high crowns and large facets.

Estimated total demantoid weight is 1.73 ct.

Approximate total diamond weight is 2.80 carats.

The earrings are marked with later Soviet control mark for 583 gold standard.

Diameter is 13 mm (1/2 in.)

Total length with ear wire is 20 mm (3/4 in.)
