Scott's The Lady of the Lake, edited by William J. Rolfe, Riverside Press, Cambridge, Houghton, Mifflin and Co.,Boston, New York, and Chicago, publishers. Copyright, 1882 and 1883, by James R Osgood and Company. I believe it is a US edition. 273 pages with black and white illustrated plates, and index. Owner's name, Isabel Bailey Cook, on inside front and back plus date of March 27th, 1904. I love the map which shows the mountains and lakes north of Loch Lomond and Stirling. 5'' x 6 3/4". Tight binding, red edges, green cloth clad board cover has normal wear with small scuffs, and occasionally there are small, light pencils markings mainly in the first dozen pages or so. A solid antique book with no major problems.
