A pair of cast iron bookends in the shape of lions that are almost 100 years old. They have been given a gold colored patina, although much of it has worn off, showing the cast iron underneath. They no longer have felts on the bases.

5” wide x 1 ½” deep x 3 ¼” tall. Weighs 1 lb 7.5 oz (660 g)

CONDITION

There are no cracks, dents or breaks. There are losses to the gold patina on both bookends, and the shade of gold on one is a more golden color than the other.
