A pair of heavy cast iron bookends in the shape of bold Viking ships with the wind at their backs
The Viking ships have been cast with ribbed sails, planked hulls, and a dragon ship’s figurehead. They have bronze highlights on the dragons and on the base fronts. They have flat bases with no felts. The words AUGSBURG MINNEAPOLIS have been deeply cast just above the base on the back of each bookend. Above this mark is a C in a circle.

4” (10.2 cm) wide x 1 ¾” (4.4 cm) deep x 5 ½” 14.0 cm) tall. Weighs 4 lbs 10.7 oz (2110 g)
CONDITION
There are no cracks, dents, or breaks. The finish has oxidized over time. There are a few rust spots, mostly on the top of the bases. There are no felts.
