Antique LARGE Black Forest Veranderlich Barometer 42" H X 24" W
Beautiful, very large Veranderlich Aneroid Barometer and Thermometer. This is a magnificent piece with a bird in flight on the very top with two large fish flanking the outer circle of the barometer and a flower on the very bottom. It is accented with leaves and reeds along both sides. The sticker is still on the back from when purchased 25 yrs. ago that says "18th Century Rosewood barometer". This beautiful piece weighs 16 lbs.
There is a piece of brass missing in the circle just above the German name approximately 2" long.
