A sparkling simulated, faceted citrine stars in this authentic Art Deco vintage link bracelet, fabricated in platinum toned chromium, a favorite alloy used during this period for it's incredible ability to capture the nuances of fine metals. Delicately detailed crests and webs form the fully articulated links and high profile stone setting. A simple, patented pressure clip secures.
The bracelet is approximately 6 3/4 inch long x 5/8 inch at it's widest point with a 1/4 inch maximum profile or height. Band width is about 5/16 inch. Bezel set glass citrine stone is approximately 15 millimeters x 13 millimeters. Weight of the bracelet is a light and comfortable 7.5 grams.
Condition is very good antique. Beautiful stone faceting and coloring. Excellent, albeit for a small flea bite in top facet of citrine stone -- reflected in selected images and item's price. No cracks or breaks to stone. All chromium links and setting free from dents or improper bends. Alignment and articulation as created. Chromium free from stains, oxidation, discoloration or stains -- a testament to this metal's durability. Integrated pressure tab closure strong and secure. Extremely clean. No repairs. Issue as noted. Very good antique condition.
The bracelet is stamped on reverse of it's closure link: "PAT. 1257158". This utility patent number dates to 1918. Of course, the bracelet was made some time after this date -- we believe in the late teens - early twenties.
