Omar Cigarette advertising tin, 8 ½” by 5 ¾” by 1 ¼” MINT, No rust, NO dents, excellent colors and graphics. Clean in and out. In 1911, The American Tobacco Company introduced Omar, a premium Turkish blend cigarette, in order to compete with other leading Turkish brands. The cigarette was named after the medieval Persian poet Omar Khayy who experienced a resurgence of popularity from 1900-1930 during an Omariana fad.

All advertising tins have been cleaned and waxed. All unopened tins and cardboard boxes will be shrink wrapped. We are listing 100 pieces we acquired from a private collection of MINT tobacco and cigarette tins and boxes. To your advantage all will be listed on sale at less than 30% of current market value. Items were purchased by the collector in the 1960’s. New to the market, this collection has been in storage for years.
