Two wafer canister tins, Bremner Wafers and Keebler Butter Wafers, perfect for storage, colorful for display. Please read the entire description and view all of the photos they are both art of the description. Brenmer is 6 ½” tall, 6 ½” diameter, Keebler is 5 7/8” tall, 5 7/8” diameter. Both have original slip lids, rolled rim edges, single side seam. No dings or dents on Bremner can, Keebler has some smooth out dents by letter “R’s”. Both have wear spots on the lid. They have been cleaned and waxed. The Keebler tin is about thirty years earlier than the Bremner.
The Keebler Company is an American cookie and former cracker manufacturer. Founded in 1853. Augustus Weyl partnered with the company in 1890. Keebler and Weyl incorporated Keebler’s bakery as the Keebler-Weyl Baking Company.
In 1905 the Keebler-Weyl Baking Company was the first member of a network of local bakeries that later was amalgamated under the Keebler corporate umbrella.
Bremner Wafers tin is early 1960’s and has survived this long sitting on a shelf without storing metal bits
