PAIR Gorham Art Nouveau Silver Overlay Red American Glass Cologne Bottles

Circa 1900 this is a pair of hallmarked and numbered large perfume, eau de Toilette, Cologne bottles. Made from deep cranberry red glass, with bright sterling silver heavy overlay, with an art nouveau design swirling Gingko leaves and vines. It has a central cartouche with an inscription of a monogram.
It is hallmarked with a lion, anchor, G, with the number before D 945, the number 107 is scratched in the base and 109 scratched on the bottom of the other bottle.
Condition report: THERE IS A BIG CHIP on the inside of the stopper. It does not show when it is placed.

Made by Gorham Manufacturing Company, Providence Rhode Island. Circa 1900 – 1915. American Art Glass. Sterling Silver. Matching pair. Estate Piece.
