Here we have, fresh to the market is a 1980’s ATMOS Jaeger Le Coultre 540 Swiss made shelf/mantel clock with thirteen jewels (serial number 629540). It's in great condition with very minimal wear The clock works and I will have the clock locked for handling/transportation purposes. No boxes or papers.

It measures approximately 9" in height, 5" in width (side, right to left), and 7" in length (front, right to left). It weighs approximately 9 pounds 10.2 ounces. The front of the clock is marked: "ATMOS" "Jaeger LeCoultre" "Thirteen [13] Jewels" "SWISS" "540" The leveling bubble in the front is intact with no fluid loss and working fine

A little history and info: Jaeger-LeCoultre’s first clock was developed in 1928. They were renowned for their use of variations in temperature for power. Within a sealed capsule, a mixture of gases expand and contract with each temperature change. Thus, the mechanism winds naturally, without any human intervention.

A very nice piece. It has been running great since I bought it about 2 weeks ago. A lever just below the face locks it in place, as you never want to move this clock without locking it first. Some minor wear to brass but no major damages, glass is free of chips and cracks. Very clean.
