About Us

My focus is on German Art Deco and antique Victorian jewelry. In my shop you'll find sterling jewels from the 1920s and '30s, including signed work by German master Theodor Fahrner. I also love whimsical and precious jewels from the late 1800s and early 1900s. I'm a particular fan of George N. Steere, whose Art Nouveau creature pieces are unique and amazing.

I've been actively buying and selling old treasures for twenty-five years but collecting all my life. I grew up in a family where making art was a constant. William Steig, the cartoonist and children's book author, and Henry Steig, the modern jewelry master, were my uncles. I credit my late mother with my love for jewelry of all kinds.

Jewelry is my bliss, and I hope that I communicate my love of jewels to all of you who visit my shop.

My background is in literature, art history, film, teaching, and public relations, and all have come to bear on my selection of jewelry and its presentation to my customers. I have sold at many antique stores and vintage jewelry shows in the area and I am now enjoying selling online. I truly enjoy communicating with my customers.
