EXIT STRATEGYIn 1992 there was a need to have more time to manage the care of my Mother. I took advantage of a downsizing at my company to quit my job as a software engineer. There was a need to have some relief time from dealing with an Alzheimer’s patient. I started going to antique shops, malls, estate sales, and auctions learning and buying items of interest. It didn't take long before it become clear that if I continued to buy, I must also sell. The antique business became a reality. First selling in a space in an antique mall, trying a few shows, and eventually selling online. I joined RubyLane in 2002 as a charter member. The business and the inventory continued to grow.
The time has come to have an EXIT STRATEGY. I realize this may take months or even years, but this is a start. Most items in this shop are reduced in price to expedite this effort. The years of accumulation have allowed me to learn about, accumulate, and live with a multitude of wonderful items. The prices make them very affordable for other collectors and dealers who are building their inventories.
