About Turtle Creek Antiques, Inc.

Our Service Pledge

All items are guaranteed as to authenticity. I mention any condition problems that I am aware of. Remember that old things do not look brand new. I respond to orders promptly and ship promptly as well. I reserve the right to hold items paid for by personal check until the check clears, if the buyer is unknown to me. I prefer to insure everything. I pack carefully!

About Us

I first opened my shop, Turtle Creek Antiques, in 1974 in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, and have been in the antiques business ever since. 2022 marks 47 years! After 25 years on Armitage Avenue and another 6 years in Lakeview, I closed the brick and mortar shop. I began selling on Ruby Lane in 2001, so I have 21 years here. I have begun selling at antique shows again. There are few shows in the Chicago area, so I travel. My shop goes on vacation mode when I am away. I sell at the Grayslake Antiques and Collectibles Market locally. Sometimes I run into old customers there, and it's always a pleasure! I plan to continue offering the same fine quality antiques, jewelry, small items, and textiles (quilts and vintage linens) in my Ruby Lane shop for which Turtle Creek Antiques has always been known. I add new lines of inventory now and then; Limoges boxes, for example, are a recent new addition. I love buying and selling and plan to remain an active dealer for as long as my health and energy permit. I can usually give you immediate service. I am making Post Office runs twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. Please fee free to call or email me with your questions or concerns.
